In den letzten 20 Jahren hat die globale Produktion von Vanadiumerz stetig zugenommen, hauptsächlich in China, Russland, Südafrika und Brasilien. Nach Statistiken aus der United States Geological Survey betrug die globale Vanadiumerzproduktion im Jahr 2021 etwa 110, 000 Tonnen (Metallinhalt).
